BELCO Restores Power After Lightning Strike
At approximately 2:56pm today [Aug 30] a lightning strike caused a power outage in the Ord Road area of Paget and Warwick. Approximately 950 customers were affected, however BELCO crews quickly responded and restored all power by 3.30pm.
This is the second time this month power has been knocked out by a lightning strike, following an incident which saw 1300 customers lose power after a lightning strike in the Middle Road area in Southampton on August 15th.
