CaBrailSong Youth Gospel Concert This Sunday

0003974183_PM_1355976209The CaBrailsong School of Vocal Arts of Columbia, South Carolina are making their international debut in Bermuda, and are set to give a performance at the Mount Zion AME Church on Sunday evening [Aug 25].

Founder and lead instructor at CaBrailSong, the Rev. Carolyn Brailsford [pictured], has been on island conducting a week long Vocal Arts Intensive for youth between the ages of 5 and 25 at the Allen Temple AME Church in Somerset.

Young people were taught vocal techniques as they prepare for a Gospel Concert this Sunday at 6:00pm at the Mount Zion AME Church in Whale Bay, Southampton.

The concert will feature the 50 plus voices that have been trained during this week along with an appearance by a few of Rev. Brailsford’s former Bermudian students from Allen University and Spelman College.

Tickets, which are available at bdatix, are $20 for adults and $10 for young people under 16 and seniors.Children under 5 will be admitted free. For more information call 234-0433 or email allentemple@northrock.bm.
