PLP To Host “Member’s Roast” This Friday

The Progressive Labour Party will be having an PLP Member’s Roast this Friday August 9th starting at 7pm. Held at the PLP Headquarters, Alaska Hall on Court Street, this event is free for Party Members.

PLP Leader Marc Bean said, “The PLP Member’s Roast is a fun opportunity for our Members to see another side of their MPs, ask questions and contribute to the renewal and growth of the Bermuda Progressive Labour Party.”

While the event is for Party Members, renewals of membership or signing up as a new members may be done at the door.

The PLP’s Members Roast is free for Party Members and a minimum donation of $10 per question may be made. At 10pm there will be an after-party running till 2 am. For further information, please contact PLP Headquarters on 292-2264.

    Since when are there questions at a roast? The PLP must be really broke if they are charging members to ask questions of their MPs. I’m thinking one night is nowhere near enough time to have a proper roast of the PLP. Open it to non members & it would go on like Cup Match. Days & no result.
