Sailors Continue In Rhode Island Byte CII Worlds

The 2013 Byte CII Worlds in Rhode Island continued with Bermuda’s Peter Dill, Ceci Wollmann, Ben Smith and Chase Cooper once again taking to the waters.

The 2013 Laser 4.7 Youth Worlds number two, Jonatan Vadnai from Hungary sailed four perfect races and now sits with seven first place finishes.

The rest of the top five remained unchanged with Henry Marshall from the USA getting three seconds and a third and this put him a comfortable 23 points ahead of Pavle Zivanovic of Croatia in third place.

Fourth and fifth places are still held by Bermuda’s Peter Dill and Bernie Chin from Singapore. Dill has a total of 44 points after recording two third place finishes and a 7th on the day.

Amongst the females, Odile Van Aarnholt, Netherlands sits in sixth place overall and is still the leader sitting 12 points up on Maria Erdi of Hungary. Third placed female is Bermuda’s Ceci Wollmann, followed by a new face in the top five – Capucine Raguet from France.

Wollmann recorded a 10th, 16th and 21st place finishes on the day she has 105 points and she is currently in 17th place. Smith is currently in 31st place with 191 points, while Cooper currently holds down the 32nd place spot with 196 points.
