Tyrone Smith Finishes 4th In Sweden
Tyrone Smith finished 4th in the IAAF’s DN Galan Diamond League Track and Field Meet in the Stockholm Stadium in Sweden, recording a top leap of 7.94m in the Men’s Long Jump.
Smith recorded a leap of 7.91m on his first attempt, before leaping 7.82m on his second attempt. Smith’s third leap netted him 7.67m, before recording his best leap of 7.94 on his fifth attempt. Smith closed out with a leap of 7.81m in his fifth and final attempt.
The event was won by Russia’s Aleksandr Menkov who a top leap of 8.18m, while Godfrey Mokoena from South Africa finished second with a top leap of 8.06m, Eusebio Caceres from Spain finished third with a top leap of 8.00m.
