The first audition, taking place at 6pm on Friday [Sept 13], will cover the main cast of characters and the adult choir, consisting of those aged 14 and up. Those attending are asked to wear comfortable clothing to the audition, and to bring their sheet music.

The second audition, to be held at 9.30am on Saturday [Sept 13], will cover the children’s choir, consisting of boys and girls aged 8 to 14 years old. Parents will be required to register their children at 9.30am, before leaving the children in the audition room; parents will not be allowed in the room during performances.

The children auditioning are asked to wear comfortable clothing, along with shoes that will allow them to dance, but no sheet music is required.

Finally, at 1pm on Sunday [Sept 15], a second audition will be held for the principle cast members and adult choir, with callbacks for all roles being made later in the afternoon.

The BMDS website plays host to the audition materials needed for those looking to cast themselves in any of the available roles, with hard copies available at the theatre itself after 5pm through Thursday of this week.

For more information about the auditions, or to volunteer your time in helping to make the production successful, please contact theatre producer Kim Day at kimday@logic.bm.

Sleeping Beauty is set to be shown from December 5 through December 14, 2013.
