Liquor Bottles Fall Off Traveling Delivery Truck

Traffic traveling along North Shore Road, Shelly Bay this morning [Sept 9] encountered delays after some liquor fell out of the back of a delivery truck, smashing into the road as it fell.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 8.30am on Monday, September 9th police officers on mobile patrol in the area of Old Road and North Shore Road in Hamilton parish encountered a truck carrying bottles of alcohol, some of which had fallen onto the road.

“There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident. Works & Engineering personnel were contacted and attended the scene to assist with cleanup.”

    The police thought the driver was kissing the ground because he was so thankful no-one was hurt. Until he got a sliver of glass in his tongue.
