Stefan Dill Named Soccer Player Of The Week
Bermudian Stefan Dill has been named the South Atlantic Conference Men’s Soccer Player Of The Week, league officials announced today [Sept 25].
Dill, a senior goalkeeper who plays for Lenoir-Rhyne University in North Carolina , earned shutout wins last week for Lenoir-Rhyne over North Georgia [2-0] and fifth-ranked Wingate [1-0] on Wednesday and Sunday, respectively.
For the season, Dill — who has played for the Bermuda National team — leads the league in goals-against average [0.64] and save percentage [.833] to go along with 20 saves and three shutouts.
