iPhone 5C Available At CellOne, Starting At $599

October 14, 2013

iphone 5cCellOne announced today the arrival of the iPhone 5C, Apple’s newest addition to their 5 series smartphones. The phones start at $599 for a 2 year contract, and range up to $799 for no contract.

Being expressive is Apple’s approach with this ‘anything-but-shy’ vibrant colour range. CellOne currently offers the device in 4 colour options: pink, blue, yellow and green.

“This is a solid device with a little more flair, something new for Apple iPhones” says Joel Ferrier, CellOne’s Marketing Director. “The option to have a reasonably priced iPhone loaded with features comparable to previous higher end versions is perfect for anyone wanting to get into the iPhone arena.”

As part of the company’s recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, CellOne’s marketing efforts promote the pink iPhone 5C along with the commitment to donate $10 from each iPhone sale in October to the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre.

“We are proud that many companies have stepped forward this year to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month in Bermuda. Having CellOne use a high profile product such as the iPhone and tying it into raising funds to support early detection for breast cancer will certainly help raise awareness” says Deborah Titterton Narraway, Marketing and Fundraising Manager at Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre.

“All funds raised will support our charitable outreach initiatives which include our Equal Access Fund, our Education and Awareness Programmes and the Bermuda Cancer and Health Scholarship.”

The Apple iPhone 5c yes that’s the plastic least expensive model (except in Bermuda) has Ben dubbed the red headed stepchild, sales of the 5c are lower than expected and in fact lower than the more expensive 5s and prices (US) start at $99 so what’s the other $500 for CellOne? Does this pay for your high salaries and fancy jeep, when are these companies going to realize that we are informed consumers

You should probably start your own business and steal the customers from cellone and digicel with your lower prices and better service.. Wonder how you will pay your staff, electric, insurance, Internet .. Oh and since you don’t buy a million phones you get to pay premium prices and duty on top…

      • Whistling Frog says:

one can pay a s*** load of money here $799.00 without a contract, or you can buy direct from Apple Inc. for $199.00 or Amazon.com for $583.24
And I’m sure these local companies are buying from Apple Inc. also. Everyone has a choice to keep the profit in their pocket.

I have a Samsung ace that thinks it’s charging right now even though it isn’t plugged in, I’m quite happy with it. Either it has unlimited battery or it’s going to explode in my hands in the near future.

$599-$799 for a cell phone is insane
