TBi Says “Thanks Bermuda” After ISP Survey

October 17, 2013

Following the release of the recent internet access survey which showed that customers were most satisfied with TBI, the company has thanked all of their loyal subscribers for supporting them, and thanked Bermuda generally for being patient during this period of Regulatory Reform.

A recent survey conducted by Mindmaps for the Regulatory Authority indicated TBi has a 7% share of the Internet Service Provider [ISP] market and is rated number one amongst residents most satisfied with their ISP. In addition, TBi customers were rated most willing to recommend their ISP.

TBi President Greg Swan said, “We wish to first thank all of our loyal subscribers for supporting us and thank Bermuda generally for being patient during this period of Regulatory Reform.

“As stated when we launched in May, we are committed to providing great value for money for all Bermuda residents and we firmly believe that giving the customer the flexibility to pick and choose their carrier of choice keeps us on our toes to make absolutely certain we are providing a quality service and best value for money.

“We were all humbled within TBi when we read the results of the survey. We have worked hard over the past five months and there is still a lot of work left to be done. Our commitment to our customers is paramount; if our customers are happy so are we.”

“In reviewing the results of the survey, to be rated highest amongst Internet Service Providers in the categories of Residents most satisfied with their Internet Service Provider as well as Residents most willing to recommend their Internet Service Provider, lets us know we must be doing something right”, said Mr. Swan.

“When we decided to deviate from the norm and roll out the service with no contracts we knew our commitment to customer service and network quality would be critical to obtaining market share. Thus far, based on these results, we seem to be on the right track.”

TBi were granted their Integrated Communications Operating License [ICOL] five months ago.

TBi ROCKS! Switched in the summer and haven’t looked back. WiFi Zone works well too!

I believe that if you care about price competition then you should switch to TBI. They are the only reason NorthRock/Logic has significantly reduced their rates after decades of fleecing us with exorbitant ones. If TBI bites the bullet (having only 7% ISP market share) then you can bet your bottom dollar that NorthRock/Logic will start to up the rates again.

Support TBI and make the switch. You’ll be crying if they exit the market.
