Warren Jones Named CEO Of Polaris Holding

Warren JonesPolaris Holding Company Limited announced the appointment of Warren Jones as CEO for the group of companies, effective January 2014.

As CEO, Mr. Jones will be responsible for implementing the strategy of the Polaris Group of Companies as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Group’s subsidiaries Stevedoring Services Ltd., Equipment, Sales & Rental Ltd. and Mill Reach Holding Ltd.

Mr. Jones joins Polaris from the Bermuda Government, where he was Permanent Secretary of Education.

      Working as a PS is much different than working as CEO of a private company. Mr. Jones is a good man and quite capable of success in this role.

        @Watching, I think your right, it is a much different role working in a private company than in Government. The rules are different, and he has full control to make change happen, fast and quicker. In government there are so many steps to climb before change can take place. Really different climate as well. He will do well there, and I think it is a better fit for him. I think private is usually better than government anyways. Good luck Mr. Jones, a smart move on your behalf.
