Toyota Rav4 Vehicle Reported Stolen [Located]

[Updated] A white Toyota Rav4 — license plate 45986 — was reported stolen, with the police saying it was removed from outside a Warwick residence.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 7:30am on Wednesday, October 2nd police received a report of a stolen vehicle.

“It appears that sometime between 10pm on Tuesday, October 1st and 7am Wednesday, October 2nd a white Toyota Rav4 bearing license plate 45986 was removed from outside a Morgan Road, Warwick residence.

“Anyone who may know the whereabouts of this white Toyota Rav4 is encouraged to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011 at the earliest opportunity.”

Update Oct 4: A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating a white Toyota Rav4 bearing license plate 45986 recently reported stolen from outside a Morgan Road, Warwick residence. The vehicle was subsequently located in the vicinity of Fort Hamilton in Pembroke. Inquiries are ongoing.”

    Three or four years ago a drunk driver of a white Toyota Rav 4 deliberately acted as if he was going to run me over in Par-La-Ville parking lot – as he just missed and passed by me, I gave him a piece of my mind (called him an ‘A–H—’; he skidded to a stop and yelled “I’m going to mash you…,” at which the woman beside him intervened and told him to “Stop the foolishness,” etc… Apparently all this because he objected to the colour of my skin, that I’m employed (I was dressed for and coming from work) and frankly because of the general racist hatred whipped up in Bermuda at that time by the Party in power, especially the then Premier and his Minister for Public Safety… Well I sure hope that is that jerk’s car and whoever has it totally trashes it.
