DNUG To ‘Demystify’ Microsoft Certifications

November 20, 2013

The .Net User Group [DNUG] is hosting a presentation on Thursday 28th November with a guest speaker from Microsoft.

Neeala Maharaj-Racha, Developer and Platform Lead at Microsoft, will be presenting remotely about ongoing learning for developers, the tools that are available from Microsoft, their certifications and the best way to keep up-to-date.

DNUG, which is a not-for-profit-association dedicated to advancing .NET development on the Island by sharing knowledge and learning from each other, has extended the invitation to local school and college students in the hope to encourage students to consider a career in software development.

The presentation, which will take place at the Argus building from 5.30pm, is free to attend though DNUG asks attendees to register here as space is limited.

Speaking about the event President of DNUG and Managing Director at Nova Sandra DeSilva said “We’re delighted to be able to get Microsoft to present at the event. DNUG’s mission is to further the development of .NET skills in Bermuda: to provide access to education and training, and so to have Microsoft speaking is fantastic.’

A spokesperson said, “The event is kindly sponsored by Argus, Nova, Buzz and wineonline.”
