Bermuda Poultry Fanciers To Host Show

January 31, 2014

The Bermuda Poultry Fanciers are getting set to host a Poultry Show today [Jan 31] and over the weekend, with the event being held in the Jack King Building in the Botanical Gardens.

The show will be opened by the Governor this morning, kicking off an event that was started in Bermuda more than 100 years ago.

The show promises to feature many animals on display, including chickens, geese, turkeys, pigeons, rabbits, quails, ducks, and other species.

The organizing group will also be showcasing the results of a massive children’s colouring contest that saw more than 1,400 entries received, with the entries on display during the show and prizes donated by local feed and pet stores available for participating children.
