Olympic Association Names Chefs de Mission
The Bermuda Olympic Association [BOA] announced the names of Chefs de Mission for the various international sports festivals at which Bermuda will have representation in 2014.
National Olympic Committees appoint Chefs de Mission as their main liaisons with the International Olympic Committee, international sports federations and each Games organising committee. The Chef de Mission is responsible for all competitors, officials and National Olympic Committee delegates and staff who attend the Games.
The Bermuda Olympic Association’s appointed Chefs de Mission for 2014 are:
- Winter Olympics [Sochi, Russia] – [7-23 February] – Chuck Millican
- Commonwealth Games [Glasgow, Scotland] – [23 July – 3 August] – Stanley Douglas
- Youth Olympic Games [Nanjing, China] – [16-28 August] – Katura Horton-Perinchief
- CAC Games [Veracruz, Mexico] – [14-30 November] – Donna Watson
