Netball: Youth & Senior League Results
The North Village Lady Rams, Data Tech Netts Whites, Data Tech Netts Green and Lady Bluebirds all recorded wins in this weekend’s netball action.
Under 12
Jai-la Wade and Toya Anderson scored 8 goals each in helping the North Village Lady Rams to a 19 – 10 win over the Signworx Netts. The North Village Lady Rams also got 2 goals from Jazae Smith and one goal from Gabrielle Romaine, Asha Symons scored 7 goals for the Signworx Netts and Zidonna Robinson added 3 goals.
The Data Tech Netts Whites defeated the Young Men Social Club Baby Bluebirds 34 – 21. Kaamilah Nasir led the Data Tech Netts to victory with 27 goals, while Saleah Tuzo added 6 goals and Maya Saunders scored twice. Zakiah Lewis scored 16 goals for the Young Men Social Club Baby Bluebirds, while Kessiah Jackson added 5 goals.
Under 15
The Young Men Social Club Bluebird Young’uns fell 39 – 9 to the North Village Lady Rams 39, Xah-Niyah Hunt scored a game high 17 goals for the North Village Lady Rams, while Jordyn Morris added 13 goals and Zhanae Simmons scored 9 times. Tamera Simmons scored 6 goals for the Young Men Social Club Bluebird Young’uns, while Kiara Francis added 2 goals and Krishay Tucker scored once.
The Data Tech Netts Green defeated the North Village Lady Rams Too 14 – 11. Teyah Lindo scored a game high 9 goals for the Data Tech Nets Green, while Debre Evans added 6 goals, Brianna Swaison scored 7 goals for the North Village Lady Rams Too and Xon-Naye Hunt added 4 goals.
Senior League
The Who’s Who Tournament came to a conclusion with Lady Bluebirds making a clean sweep to take all honors.
