Gunshots Fired In Southampton, No One Injured

Police confirmed that gunshots were fired on Friday night in Southampton, and said there were no reported injuries.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 11:50pm on Friday, February 7th police officers responded to reported gunshots in the Horseshoe Road, Southampton area.

“Forensic evidence collected from the scene confirmed that a firearm was discharged in that area; however there were no reported injuries.

“An active investigation into this confirmed firearm incident is ongoing and police are appealing for witnesses or anyone that may have seen suspicious persons or vehicles in the Horseshoe Road, Southampton area Friday night to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739 or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.”
