“Upon their arrival they discovered a large area of brush approximately 100’ x 150’ fully involved in fire. The duty crew proceeded to extinguish the fire using three 1½ hose lines while dressed in self-contained breathing apparatus.”

Sergeant Caleb Zuill stated that “the fire took approximately one hour to bring under control due to the size of the area which was involved. Once the fire was brought under control all of the hot-spots where extinguished to prevent the brush from reigniting.” The cause of the fire is still undetermined.

Brush fire or controlled burning that got out of control? Stuff does not burst into flame.

Do they want to really know the cause? Because unless you go back to the scene, interview and question the residents in the area, how can they determine if someone might have started it, intentionally or unintentionally (cigarette)? I have been home all day and other than the Cable crew, and the telephone crew I have not seen any policemen come to question us. Just saying.
