Nahki Wells & Huddersfield Defeat Birmingham

February 15, 2014

Nahki Wells and his Huddersfield FC teammates took on Birmingham City FC today [Feb 15] with the Terriers taking three points in the 2-1 winner.

The 23 year old Bermudian striker — who already has two Huddersfield goals to his credit — was in the starting eleven but went scoreless today and was substituted after 88 minutes of play, leaving the field to a standing ovation.

Huddersfield came out strong with Oliver Norwood scoring in the 10th minute of the first half. The two teams played a hard fought battle before Adam Clayton scored the Terriers’ second goal of the game. Home side Birmingham scored a late goal in extra time to bring the match result to 2-0.

Huddersfield’s next game will see the Terriers take on Sheffield Wednesday FC on Saturday February 22 at 11am at Huddersfield’s home field, John Smith’s Stadium.
