PLP Constituencies To Host Community Events

Constituencies 33-36 of the Progressive Labour Party will be hosting “Unity in the Community”, a series of events from Sunday, February 16 until Saturday, February 22.

The week begins with an afternoon church service on Sunday, February 16, at Allen Temple A.M.E. Church. This service will feature visiting choirs and pastors, and will be followed with refreshments.

The second event is Wednesday, February 19. This is an Education Forum at 7:00pm at Somerset Cricket Club. Refreshments in the form of soup and rolls will be provided.

Friday, February 21, will be a social night at Sandys Secondary Middle School & Auditorium. Beginning at 6:00pm, there will be a drive-in movie, games and karaoke performances.

Saturday, February 22, will be a Community Service Day beginning at 9:00am at Sandys Community Centre.

A spokesperson said, “We encourage all of our West End Supporters of the Progressive Labour Party to come out to these events and spread ‘unity in the community’.”
