BESCO Wins Tynes Bay Fire Protection Contract

Bryan AdamsBermuda Energy Services Company Ltd. [BESCO] announced today that it has won the maintenance contract for the fire protection and detection system at the Tynes Bay Waste Treatment Facility on Palmetto Road. The awarding of the maintenance contract followed a government contract tender process.

A spokesperson said, “The contract covers the supply of labour, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to provide maintenance, inspection, testing, and related repair services to the fire protection and detection systems at the Tynes Bay facility.

“BESCO was responsible for the initial installation of the fire detection system, and they have conducted other work at the facility including electrical upgrades of the boiler streams and precipitators.

Bryan Adams, President of BESCO [pictured left] said, “We are pleased to be able to continue our relationship with Tynes Bay with this maintenance contract. Our technical ability and experience in industrial environments, combined with previous work we have done at the facility, positions us well to effectively carry out this contract.”
