Onionpatch Academy To Host Walk-A-Thon
Onionpatch Academy is getting set to host its second annual Walk-A-Thon on Saturday, April 12 at Arboretum Park in an effort to raise money for education supplies and outdoor play equipment.
A spokesperson said, “The Onionpatch Academy will be conducting its second annual Walk-A-Thon fundraiser on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Arboretum Park starting at 10.00am.
“Students, family, and friends will walk around the park. Families can enjoy a healthy lunch and then let the kids work off their excess energy by playing in the park. The money raised will be used for two main purposes: educational supplies such as puzzles, blocks, and manipulatives, and outdoor play equipment.
“The registration fee for the Walk-a-Thon is $20 for adults and $10 for children. This includes a goodie bag and a healthy lunch.
