Validus & Aspen To Sponsor Beyond Rugby
Validus Holdings, Ltd. and Aspen Re said they are proud to sponsor The 3rd Annual Beyond Rugby Bermuda Play for Success Rugby Championship Day, taking place on Friday, March 28th at the National Stadium.
The Championship Day will feature a friendly match with members of Beyond Rugby teams and participants from Validus and Aspen Re.
Both Validus and Aspen Re are founding sponsors of the innovative Beyond Rugby program, which helps young people develop good character and succeed in school while having fun and staying healthy.
The program provides daily homework support and meals after practice, and has built a community of positive adults dedicated to working with students to improve their grades and make positive choices.
“The Beyond Rugby Program is a fantastic initiative that truly helps young people develop both on and off the Rugby pitch,” said Jeff Sangster, CFO of Validus Holdings, Ltd. “We are proud to sponsor Beyond Rugby and look forward to an exciting match at Championship Day.”

Beyond Rugby Bermuda is a partnership between Family Centre, which organizes the support to young people and families, and the Bermuda Rugby Football Union, which arranges training and games.
