Pedestrian Injured In Hamilton Parish Collision

A collision on North Shore Road and Rocky Lane in Hamilton occurred this morning [Apr 17], sending a 52-year-old pedestrian to hospital.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 11.30am on Thursday, April 17, first responders attended a reported serious collision at the junction of North Shore Road and Rocky Lane in Hamilton parish.”

“It appears that a motorcycle was being ridden along North Shore Road when a collision occurred with a male pedestrian.

“The victim, believed to be a 52-year-old Devonshire man, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of unspecified injuries.”

“Apparently, he was later discharged and the motorcycle rider involved was not injured.

“Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Robin Evans on the main police telephone number at 295-0011.”
