The S2 team is extremely pleased with the level of students who continue to excel academically.

Principal, Mrs. Kalmar Richards, during her remarks, highlighted a large number of students who attained higher level grades across a range of courses illustrating the fact that many students are making gains academically though they may not have received honours. Mrs. Richards challenged students to continue to seize opportunities that would enable them to achieve high honours.

Mr. Darren Woods of the Family Centre was the recipient of the Star Award for his outstanding service and dedication to students at CedarBridge Academy particularly through the Youth Leadership Community Program and the Beyond Rugby Cedarbridge Program. Each trimester, a school or community individual is selected by year level teams for recognition at their Honours assembly.

The Star Award is generally presented to persons who are shining stars for young people and who work unwaveringly to support the youth to achieve success.

Following the assembly, His Excellency, along with his distinguished entourage, was taken on a tour of the school’s facilities.
