April 16, 2014

Following a fundraising art exhibition hosted by the International Women’s Club [IWC] of Bermuda, just over $6000 was presented to the Chewstick Foundation.

The exhibition, held at the ACE Gallery, showcased a variety of mediums including painting, photography, quilting, clay work, and jewelry. Over 50 works of art were donated by IWC members and were available for purchase, with the funds raised helping to support Chewstick’s work in the community.

The event was held in March to coincide with Women’s History Month which highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society.
