29 Yr Old Man Charged With Stealing $120,000

In Magistrates Court this morning [Apr 3] a 29 year old man was charged with stealing items valued at around $120,000.

Steven James O’Neill faced ten charges that alleged that he had trespassed in residences and stolen items valued at a total value of around $120,000. As the charges will be dealt with in Supreme Court, he did not have to enter a plea.

The charges as read out by Senior Magistrate Archie Warner indicated that between January 2014 and March 2014, O’Neill had allegedly burgled ten separate residences spread between Southampton, Warwick, Paget, and Smith’s. The largest value alleged to have been stolen was $43,000 in value from a Paget residence.

O’Neill will remain in custody until he re-appears for Mention on 10th April.
