Man Injured After Being Assaulted By Woman
An altercation on Court Street resulted in a man being treated for a nasal bone fracture and other facial injuries after he was “head butted” twice by a female, the police said.
A police spokesperson said, “Police responded to a report of an assault that took place a few minutes before 12am on Monday night.
“The victim a 34 year old Devonshire man was leaving a liquor licensed premises on Court Street when a 27 year old female with whom he had a prior disagreement with along with some other individuals confronted him.
“The woman purportedly shouted expletives at the victim and commenced throwing punches at him.
“The victim tried to keep suspect away however, the woman head butted him twice in the nose and mouth area resulting in the victim being taken to the hospital where he was treated for a nasal bone fracture and other facial injuries.
“Any active investigation into this incident is underway and police are appealing to anyone who may have seen this assault to please contact Central CIU on 2950-0011.”

Although one wishes he got in a few hits for self defense. I learned the hard way that self defense in Bermuda us apparently illegal and if you fight someone simply because they started attacking you first its likely that you both be arrested and in some cases charged. The sad truth.
Well, you hit her or head butt her, then you can send a pass to het to come see you at the University of Westgate Correctional. Then you won’t get slapped around as often as you do.

If this woman really waited until this man left the establishment to further confront him and then she became as violent as described in this article, the Courts need to deal with her very severely.
She had the ability to walk away peacefully, instead she intentionally chose raw, graphic, brutal violence.
