“Through the British Red Cross, more than £17 million has been raised for the relief effort.

“If anyone has any additional funds that they would like to have sent to assist the survivors of the devastating typhoon that hit Philippines in November 2013, they can donate into the disaster account at Bank of N.T. Butterfield, account number 20 006 060 663859 200, before April 30.

“At this time, Bermuda Red Cross would like to thank the community for the tremendous support they showed to support those less fortunate through their creative fundraising efforts.”
