Thomson Dream Leaves After Two Day Visit

The cruise ship Thomson Dream, which arrived in Bermuda on Sunday [Apr 20] and was berthed at the Heritage Wharf in Dockyard, departed the island approximately one hour past its scheduled departure time yesterday afternoon [Apr 21].

The 798ft ship received a helping hand pulling away from the wharf with two Marine and Ports tug boats pulling the vessel away from its berth.

According to the cruise ship schedule, Thomson Dream is carrying an estimated 1510 passengers and 650 crew.

The ship left Barbados with then stopped in St Maarten, St Kitts, St Lucia, Tobago and Antigua before stopping in Bermuda. It will now continue on its journey on route to Ponta Delgada, Gibraltar, Spain and Majorca.

    If anyone remembers, this ship is actually the old Homeric that docked regularly in Hamilton late 80′s early 90′s.
