Ambulance Transports BA Passenger

Emergency services met British Airways flight #2233 on its arrival from Gatwick Airport last night [May 29] with the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service, Police and an ambulance all attending the LF Wade International Airport.

We understand a medical issue arose with a passenger on board the flight, and a doctor who was returning to the island on the same flight was able to offer assistance and care until the plane landed and the passenger was transferred to the care of hospital staff and transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital.

    Why?? do all 3 services go out to all situations. This one seemed to be under control yet everybody dashed to the scene. Yesterday, from 3pm to after 6pm East Broadway was like a war zone with Fire trucks, police, ambulance screaming along using every warning device they have and the only reported accidence were one in Southampton and one at Blackwatch Pass.

    Go figure.
