Video: Bermuda Women’s Football Team Return

[Updated with video] The Bermuda National Women’s Football team returned from Turks and Caicos this evening [May 29], after a successful showing at the inaugural Women’s Caribbean Cup.

Bermuda has advanced to the finals after finishing on top of Group 3 with 7 points, with St. Kitts and Nevis finishing second with 6 points, Cayman Islands was third with 4 points while the host Turks and Caicos did not earn a point.

Bermuda scored a total of 10 goals and conceded three, finishing with a record of two wins and one draw. Shuntae Todd finished with 4 goals, Cheyra Bell scored 3 times and Akeyla Furbert, Aaliyah Nolan and Dominique Richardson all added a goal each.

The Women’s National Team players include Jadea Smith, Teara Thomas, Jenay Edness, Rayni Maybury, Chelsea Harvey, Kashintae Fox, Eva Frazzoni, Khyla Brangman, Ebonie Burgess, K’shaela Burch Waldron, Aaliyah Nolan, Akeyla Furbert, Waynesha Bean, Dominique Richardson, Marley Christian, Shuntae Todd, Sarai Paul, Zahra Gibbons, Jaylen Bean, and Cheyra Bell.

The final round will be held in Trinidad and Tobago from August 17 – 27, 2014
