BNA Summer Netball League Weekend Action
The Bermuda Netball Association’s Summer League season continued at the Bernard Park with a double header that produced no less than 95 goals.
In the first match, the Young Men Social Club Lady Bluebirds defeated the PHC Lady Zebras 29 – 24. Fredricka Samuels scored 25 goals to lead the Lady Bluebirds to victory, with Jasmine Smith chipping in with four goals.
Jennifer Simmons scored 14 goals for the Lady Zebras, while Amali Smith added five goals, Tyra Simmons chipped in with four goals, and June Swan scored once.
In the second match, Alex Dowling scored 25 goals to lead BPSU to a 28 – 17 victory over Butterfield Bank. Kewanna Swan added three goals for BPSU, while Nikita Trott scored 12 goals for Butterfield Bank, with Fredricka Butterfield adding five goals.
