Handbag Stolen From Horseshoe Bay Beach

On Sunday afternoon [May 11] a Smith’s parish woman and her daughter went for a brief walk along  Horseshoe Bay beach leaving behind a handbag, and returned to find that the handbag was missing.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 4.15pm on Sunday, May 11, police officers attended a reported theft at Horseshoe Bay beach in Southampton.

“It appears that, at around 3.55pm on Sunday, a Smith’s parish woman and her daughter went for a brief walk along the beach, leaving behind a handbag. On their return, the Smith’s parish woman realised that her handbag was missing.

“The handbag apparently contained a small quantity of cash and personal items.

“Inquiries are ongoing into this reported theft and any witnesses, particularly persons who may have seen three men believed to be in their early 20s acting suspiciously in the area, should contact PC Garvin Aparicio at Somerset Police Station on 234-1010.”

    You only take what you need for the day,then you water proof it,and wear it.we could install a zoom camera at both ends of that beach to be put up and taken down daily,but that beach really needs a patrol here and there ,now and then.
