Man Pleads Not Guilty to Assault, Harrassment

Appearing in Magistrates Court today [May 20], a 40-year-old man pleaded not guilty to unlawfully causing grievous bodily harm to another man on May 13, 2014.

Desai Jones also pleaded not guilty to a second charge of racially harassing the Filipino national on the same day and in the same place.

Senior Magistrate Archie Warner set trial for August 2014, granted him bail of $2,000 and required him to report to Somerset Police Station every Monday between 6.00am and 9.00pm.

    SMH, why are you guys hating on Desai? No judgment was passed down by the judge, am I correct? It seems like you guys have already labelled him as guilty! Thank god for the legal system, because if it was left up to you clowns everyone who operates differently than yourself would be locked up!!!
