Mayho & Mitchell To Compete In Puebla, Mexico

Dominique Mayho and Nicole Mitchell are headed to Puebla, Mexico for the Pan American Road Championships.

Both Mayho and Mitchell will compete in the Individual Time Trial on Thursday and then on Saturday they will be in the Road Race. Mahyo is registered in the Under 23 Races and Mitchell is in the Women’s events.

The schedule of events is:

Thursday, May 8

  • 10.00am – Start of Women Time Trial – 18 kilometers
  • 11:10am – Start of U23 Men Time Trial – 30 kilometers

Saturday, May 10

  • 9:00am – Start of Women Road Race – 88.8 kilometers
  • 1:00pm – Start of U23 Men Road Race – 148 kilometers

Traveling with the cyclists will be Bermuda Bicycle Association President Peter Dunne who said, “The competition is being hosted by the Federacion Mexicana de Ciclismo [Mexican Cycling Federation] and is a qualifying event for the 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games.

“Our athletes are participating in this competition as part of their preparation for the Commonwealth Games which will be held at the end of July in Glasgow.”
