    Congratulations! Well done!

So much talent. Best wishes. Respice Finem

  3. Justice! says:

Must say, they have the looks. But what is the real state of their psychology? Have they knowledge of the truth of themselves–their history, their worth, their place, their purpose in life? After their Graduation Cotillion how many of them will be employable?

The two-day event serving as the school’s biggest fundraiser of the year and ALL the proceeds will be spent on that Graduation Cotillion. When the fun is over and the lights go out where will ALL of those graduates find themselves on the map of Bermuda? My, my, and we say that the people on this rock are SUFFERING/HURTING/IN PAIN. In many cases the suffering is actually self-inflicted due to a serious depravity in the values of life.

That money could be better used for job creation. There’s a long, long summer ahead, and we all know that idle hands are the devil’s workshop.

  4. Tosah says:

Justice…you are the average Bermudian(small-minded). Little do you know that the funds are not just for the Cotillion, it also offers Funds towards further education.

    • Justice! says:

      Tosah,

In the first/opening paragraph it reads:

“All proceeds from the fashion show will go towards the Berkeley Institute Class of 2014′s Graduation Cotillion.”

      Q&A:

Did it say Some, Part or All of the proceeds from the fashion show? It clearly says ‘All’.

Where did it say All of the proceeds from the fashion show is going? It clearly says ‘towards the Berkeley Institute Class of 2014′s Graduation Cotillion’, and no place else is specified.

I’m not an average Bermudian (small-minded)–quite the opposite. I am an intelligent life scholar, elder Afrikan Queen–born in this place and I am extremely concerned about the welfare of the Afrikan people of this island.

Having said all of that, you still may not ‘get it’ because of your youth–lack of insight. However, I overstand because I too was once a young person with limited wisdom. “In youth we learn and age we overstand.”

      • be open minded says:

so justice, when u were young, did u have a prom or cotillion? u never celebrated a birthday or christmas? I imagine u have not, ‘coz half of the world is dying of hunger, which is what u r trying to imply.

the s4 students are all working hard so that they can have money for their graduation, which is once in a lifetime event.

i understand that Bermuda is in recession, so is the rest of the world. the reason why they r doing these fund raising events is because some parents cannot afford the cotillion and this is why they had the fashion show: to help those children who cannot afford the cotillion.

all they want is our support and what u r saying is not helping…have a life, be nice and good will come.
