Bermuda U/14 Defeat Pelham Middle School
The Pelham Middle School Under 14 rugby team from New York took on Bermuda’s Under 14 National team at the National Sports Center this past weekend, with Bermuda coming away with the win.
The visiting team from New York were stunned within the first five minutes when they found themselves down 10 – 0 after Bermuda scored two quick tries with runs which started in their half of the field.
Bermuda continued to build the lead which when the final whistle was blown the score was 41 – 17. Bermuda got 4 tries from Padraic O’Shaughnessy and single tries from Kellin Williams, Alex Dowling and Gabriel Fox, while O’Shaughnessy also added 3 conversions.
Jean Vigroux, Michael Adam and James Brostow all scored a try each for the visitors, while Connor Gorman added a conversion.
