Wade-Fray To Play At Upcoming BBYF Event

The Bermuda Basketball Youth Federation [BBYF] will be hosting its Basketball Summer Jam on June 25, June 26, and June 28, 2014 at the Berkeley Institute, giving spectators the opportunity to take in BBYF national teams, the Hurricane basketball program, and NCAA Division 3 action showcasing the Pittsburgh Greenburg women’s basketball team versus the Bermuda women’s select team, including female athlete of the year Jenaya Wade-Fray.

Ms. Wade-Fray — who is expected to begin playing professionally soon — is the first and only Bermudian basketball player to make an Olympic appearance, having served on the UK’s basketball squad at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.

Since that time, she joined the coaching staff of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Lady Mocs basketball team – a team that she played with while attending the school from 2007 through 2011.
