53 Year Old Charged With Exploiting A Senior
Appearing in Magistrates Court on Friday, Ms Kim Miller, 53, pleaded not guilty to stealing a bank debit card and $1,000 belonging to a senior citizen; and to abusing a senior by financial exploitation. The charges relate to actions alleged to have occurred in December 2010.
Through Duty Counsel, Ms Miller represented to Senior Magistrate Archie Warner that she had already been to Court several times and that she thought that the matter had been dealt with.
However the Senior Magistrate set trial for October 2014 and granted Ms Miller $2,000 bail.
