July 25, 2014

The East End Bon Fire planned by the Future Bermuda Alliance has been canceled due to inclement weather, with a rain date to be announced “as soon as possible.”

The bon fire was originally planned to take place at 6.30pm tonight [July 25] at Fort St. Catherine Beach in St. George’s. For more information call 294-3202 or email futurebda@gmail.com.

The Bermuda Weather Service has issued a Thunderstorm Advisory and a Small Craft Warning, with their forecast saying, “A frontal boundary approaching the area will bring a few showers today with a chance of thunder later this afternoon.

“Conditions will persist into Saturday as the boundary stalls across the area later tonight. Conditions will gradually improve Sunday into Monday with a chance of a passing shower or two.”
