Junior National Golf Championships Underway
The HSBC Junior National Championships got underway at the Belmont Hills Golf Course with youngsters playing the Qualifying Round.
The Defending Champion Walker Campbell will in play for First Round action, the lowest round in the Qualifiers was shot by Sam Wehmeyer who delivered a 75, Dakota Lamb was four strokes back and a further two strokes was back was Cory DeSilva.
In the Open Division, Kenny Leseur proved will be the hot favorite to defend his 2013 Title after shooting 76. Luke Watson has returned from boarding school had the second best round of the day shooting 89. Tyler Emery is another locally based player who is capable of pushing Leseur this week shot 90.
