Man Admits Using Threatening Words To Police

July 11, 2014

Jalal Leighton Rochester, 40, pleaded guilty in Magistrates Court today [July 11] to using threatening words to two police constables after police had been called to a house in Hamilton Parish.

The Court heard that the police responded and sought to eject Mr Rochester from the dwelling.

During the course of this, Mr. Rochester had said to them: “F*** you c****. You guys are d**kheads. What are you looking at f******? I am gonna poke ya eyes out. You think ya bad. I have been smoking a lot of crack and lost forty pounds in three weeks, wait till I get better.”

Senior Magistrate Archie Warner ordered a Social Inquiry Report, a BARC report, and a psychological report. He then remanded Mr. Rochester into custody until an ordered re-appearance in Drug Court on 16th July.
