Hockey: Paget Defeat Pembroke Pirates

bhoc140305Bermuda Hockey Summer League action at the PCC Hockey Rink recently saw the Paget Pistols defeat the Pembroke Pirates 9 – 8.

At the end of the first period the score was level at 2-2, and then it was 4-4 after 2 periods, the Paget Pistols managed to outscore the Pembroke Pirates 5-4 in the third period.

Nick Curnow led the Paget Pistols to victory with a hat-trick, while Rich Campbell and Cam Poland added 2 goals each, Shannon Gosse and Shawn Behan added 1 goal each.

Brian Flynn scored a hat-trick for the Pembroke Pirates, while Pete Brodsky and Jeff Loper added a goal each, Joel Ferrier scored the other goal.

    Is there somewhere on the island that we can go roller blading for exercise? Where do these guys play?

      Some years ago the Bulls Head carpark was a very active place on Sunday afternoons for rollerblading. Lots of room. Smooth surface. Quiet, except for the occasional idiot on a bike or car racing through.
