Block Party And Back to School Supplies Drive
The HOTT 107.5 Block Party and Back to School Supplies Drive is set to take place on Saturday, August 30 from 12.00pm through 7.00pm in Union Square, serving up entertainment in exchange for the donation of school supplies for families in need.
The Block Party will feature live performances by Larrita Adderley, Kioshi Burgess, Paul Smith, Imari, and Place’s Gombeys. Adding to the fun will be kids’ games, fun castles, face painting, snowballs, table tennis by Smash, local vendors, and haircuts.
The Annex Toys is offering a discount on backpacks and other school supplies when you purchase them for the HOTT Back to School Supplies drive. Once you purchase the items, you leave them at the store and they will be collected by HOTT in time for the Block Party on Saturday.

It is amazing to me how Bermudians do this all the time!! Last year, the Caines Brothers put together their event (as noone was doing anything for our local families who needed school supplies) and provided haircuts for young males going back to school.
AND NOW, everyone is coming out with their “back to school” events – - why? Shouldn’t you have partnered with the Caines Brothers’ event to combine the efforts?
