Cruise Ships Leave Early Due To Hurricane
The Ministry of Tourism Development and Transport has advised of the following cancellations and early departures as a result of the approach of Hurricane Cristobal.
Early Departures:
- Norwegian Dawn departed on Tuesday morning August 26, 11 ½ hours early of original departure.
- Explorer of the Seas departed on Tuesday morning, August 26, 10 hours early of the original departure.
- Tanker Butterfly ETD 1600 on Tuesday August 26th.
Cancelled calls:
- Norwegian Breakaway [Heritage Wharf – 24/26 August]
- Celebrity Summit [King’s Wharf – 27/29 August]
“The Ministry of Tourism Development and Transport will continue to closely monitor this storm and will update the public if there are additional transport interruptions or cancellations,” a spokesperson said.
