Man Charged With Possessing Cannabis, Scale

Devonshire resident Olding Dill appeared in Magistrates Court today [Aug 5] facing cannabis possession charges.

Mr. Dill, 41, was charged with possessing the illegal substance cannabis on November 9th 2012, and doing so with the in the intent to supply. He was also charged with possessing three pairs of scissors and a scale for use in connection with a controlled substance. Mr Dill pleaded not guilty to both charges.

Senior Magistrate Archie Warner adjourned the matter for two weeks and granted Mr. Dill bail.

    I always love the “also charged for possessing…” in stories like this.

    Guaranteed to make me laugh that someone was charged with, in this case, possessing 3 pairs of scissors : )

      I lol @ 3 Pairs of scissors ……. The biggest joke ever!!! I did not know people can be charged with owning scissors, what law does that fall under?? lol

    I have three pairs of sissors…..I think most people have three pairs of sissors……………….my God …..I’ll be happy when this is legalised!…………..
    Primitive legislation .
    Primitive law.
    If I had a peer…….and I am not don’t…….but if I did…..I wouldn’t require his or her intonation…let alone opinion….certainly not his rediculous interjection ….This is personal choice…sentient consulting adult above 21 years old choice……Then….you scrutinise the behaviour of those choosing for you……and you can’t believe it…..

    The government and courts do nothing about teenagers drinking at parties and outings but you have adults going to court for smoking and allegedly being in possession of a little herb…
