People’s Campaign To Host Youth Symposium
The People’s Campaign for Equality, Jobs and Justice is inviting members of the public to empower themselves at their Youth Empowerment Symposium which will be held on Saturday [Aug 16].
The Symposium aims to encourage young Bermudians to become more involved in their social and economic well-being by creating personal value and value for the community.
A spokesperson said, “The People’s Campaign recognizes the importance of developing the youth and the vital role they play in moving the country forward. All Bermudians, especially those younger members in our society who fall between 16-35 years of age, are encouraged to attend.”
The symposium will take place on August 16 from 9.30am through 3.00pm at St. Paul’s Centennial Hall. Topics covers will include education and training, community involvement, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement.
