Last month, the Northshore Medical & Aesthetics Center [NMAC] welcomed Miss Bermuda 2014 pageant winner Lillian Lightbourn, presenting her with a $1,000 gift certificate for aesthetic services at their MedSpa, as well as a one year supply of Dermalogica skin care products.

A spokesperson said, “It was only a few weeks ago that pageant contestants visited Miss Bermuda official sponsor Northshore Medical & Aesthetics Center, where they received a wide range of aesthetic services, including a full skin assessment and analysis, followed by a Dermalogica signature facial and microdermabrasion, waxing, and even lost a few inches with their safe and effective laser lipo treatments.

“In addition, the young ladies was were treated to a nutritional and life coaching session by holistic nutritionist and life coach Preston James.

“Miss Bermuda shared how even through her modeling career in New York City, where she is signed to Trump Model Management, she has never received a skin assessment and analysis such as the one she received form Dr Kyjuan Brown.

“Lillian also shared how she had learned so much more about skin health and a proper skin care regime. She was delighted in receiving her year supply of Dermalogica skin product and looks forward to her next visit.”

Dr. Kyjuan Brown, the Medical Director of NMAC, said, “International models often have challenges with their skin, which stems from the constant application of makeup and other skin accessories aimed at only producing the perfect shot.

“Often models and beauty queens find themselves prone to accelerated skin damage, scarring, and premature aging if they don’t seek treatment.”

“We are proud sponsors of the Pageant and will continue to follow Miss Bermuda on her journey and wish her all the best on the road to Miss World,” said Dr. Brown.
