Somerset Hosting Cup Match Victory Celebration
The Somerset Cricket Club has revealed that they will be having their Cup Match victory celebration on a cruise on board the Bermuda Longtail on Friday, August 22, 2014.
Somerset Cricket Club won the 2014 annual Cup Match Classic by eight wickets after defeating St. George’s Cricket Club to keep the Cup in the west for another year.
The vessel will leave Albuoy’s Point at 9.00pm and depart Watford Bridge at 9.30pm. Tickets are $40, with each ticket including a meal, and may be purchased at the dock or in advance from the Somerset Cricket Club Bar.
The cruise will be followed up by the Marching of the Cup on August 23, with the march beginning at Somerset Cricket Club at 7.30pm.
